Habersham's interpretation of the the second release from Jacob Todd's Emote imprint is present, as is Mr Spin's own 'Stripped Beauty Mix' of fellow [PS] contributor Colin C's track as Deeptone, 'Yours To Keep'. Add in remixes from Faskil and Christopher Lobsinger, who's interpretation of Jaytech's 'Genesis' kicks off the new label Rapid Response Recordings, and we can now present yet another mini mix for you.

Wed, 10 May 2006 ![]() It's that time again where a guest steps up to take control of the SpinCast, and here on Volume 025 you are treated with not just one, but two guests! Andrew Kelly, who has been stirring up quite a lot of excitement within the scene lately, teams up with his partner Michelle Chivers, known for her vocal work on tracks by Nick Muir, Damien Heck, and Shiloh just to name a few. A trainspotter's dream, the duo take samples from a large array of tunes and layer them in with Andrew's forthcoming track "She Thinks She's Underground". It's a unique concept, and also showcases Michelle first step into the world of production, so sit back and enjoy! Main theme:

Tue, 11 April 2006 After several weeks on tour, playing gigs in Miami, Mexico and most recently warming up for Infusion in her native Seattle, chloé returns to the fold with the 88th edition in the Sound Bytes series. Featuring a selection of some of the tracks currently lodged in her record box, Chloe puts together another seamless 30 minute mix featuring new material and remixes from Lostep, Dan Mangan, James Holden and Fretwell, so be sure to check it out.

Starting with Dousk's 'Robot', taken from the album 'DIY' on Klik Records, Nick proceeds to introduce some of the recent works from Dave Robertson, Jay Tripwire and man of the moment Martinez, finishing up with an excellent track by Voltique on the much vaunted Get Physical label.

Wed, 1 February 2006 Since it's launch in 2002, Soundbytes has been a central component of the [PS] site, where chloé has put together some incredible and diverse mixsets featuring the best in new and unsigned music. It's popularity is such that several unsigned tracks were discovered and signed by record labels visiting the site. Now on it's 87th edition, Soundbytes is for the first time available as a Podcast which allows direct download among other feature. Stay tuned in the weeks and months to come for guest mixes from some of the scene's top DJs.

Thu, 29 December 2005 ![]() The new year is almost upon us, and one of our successes of 2005 has been the introduction of SpinCast, fronted by a young man who joined us earlier this year, Jason Calvert. 017 is the final edition of the year, and Jason rounds up a handful of some tracks that may have been overlooked and are worth checking out. 2005 was a bit of a double ended year here at Progressive-Sounds, but in 2006.. well.. time will tell and you shall see for yourselves... stay tuned! Trentemoller makes an appear with his latest remix, this time of the latest single from Royksopp and finally, we have Joel Armstrong's second single 'Park Street' to round things off nicely.
